Server was nice and answered all questions.
The food was flavorful! But my only issue was with the curry. They're too watery for my liking. I like my curry creamy and slightly thicker.
Must try:
Roti - super crispy, light, and flakey. Different from other thai restaurants
Spicy Calamari salad - bold flavors, saucy, not fishy at all
Con: i felt the portions were too small for every dish and parking is not easy. May need to park in the residential area. -

Fast and easy Thai!
Manivanh is where you go for good all-around Thai food. Good service, food comes out fast, good decor, good prices, and there's no wait!
You can't really go wrong with Manivanh whenever you're craving Thai, but it's also a fairly generic Thai restaurants.
Duck Salad - pretty good, lots of ingredients and good flavor but too salty for my tastes
Yellow Chicken Curry - this is actually really good, 4/5 stars, the meat is cooked just right and very tender, the sauce is also flavorful, but again, it's way too salty... yet I'd order this again haha
I've had pretty good experiences at Manivanh Thai, this place would be a 4 stars in my book if their dishes were not so salty...
(also the Roti could be fluffier and less oily, but perhaps that's preference) -

Decent Thai restaurant in my neighborhood. Pretty generic, but they do have cheap prices and aren't super busy so you can count on not having to wait!
THE WAIT: None for 2 at 7pm on a Thursday night. They weren't empty and had customers, but no one had to wait for a table.
THE COST: $35 total for dinner for 2. Very reasonable!
THE FOOD:
APPETIZERS
4. Roti w/ yellow curry $5.95 - 3.5 stars. Nice crisp, but could have more layers/be more crispy. Curry has chicken!
SAUTEED DISHES
21. Fresh Ginger w/ Mushrooms, chicken added ($9.75) - 3 stars. Strong ginger flavor, but the chicken was dry.
FRIED RICE & NOODLES
69. Pad Sa-Ew ($9.95) - 3 stars. Underflavored, & could use more beef (thought it was rather tender), egg, & broccoli. -

This restaurant is beyond great. The staff is very kind and very professional. This place is a diamond hidden in the mission. I would recommend!!!!!! Also perfect for a date night:)

My friends and I ordered the roti with curry sauce, yellow curry, pad Thai, and Tom yum soup shared amongst 3 people. I absolutely love Thai food, but I don't think I'm familiar with the way this place cooks their food. The pad Thai and Tom yum soup were both too very sweet, which was a bit off putting to me. The roti was too greasy and oily, it didn't sit very well in my stomach. I couldn't fully enjoy the food because of the sweetness. However, the service was good, the waitress was very nice and made sure that we got our food and everything we needed, while she was handling a really big party in the next room.
